Hi, my name is Kasia

I come from Poland, but for years now, my daily life and creative space have been based in Leiden, the Netherlands. It is here that I am rediscovering my craft.

My journey with ceramics began in my youth, back in Poland. It was then that I first felt the touch of soft clay and became fascinated by how raw earth gains permanence through fire. However, life took its turn, and for many years I had to interrupt this path, putting creation aside.

Yet, clay knows how to wait patiently. A few years ago, I felt a deep need to return to my roots and to my old passion. It turned out that this time apart brought me maturity. Nature, mysticism, and ancient myths became an entirely new source of inspiration, which I now breathe into sculptures in my studio.

Today, I view my studio work as a personal alchemical process. In my sculptures, I try to bring together the four elements—earth, water, air, and fire—seeking a deeper connection with nature and a hidden spirituality within them. I focus primarily on shaping ceramic trees and forms that echo ancient stories. My work is born in silence; it is a humble craft in which I allow nature and magic to speak through my hands. I am glad you are here, and that I can share this with you.
